Congratulations to all the students for getting the website live!
Moving Forward with Mechanical
We’ve completed the chassis, but we’ve still got so much to do! As of now they we’re working on assembling the intake and the shooter. Step it up guys, we can do this!
Go Scouts!
The scouts and I have our general template planned out, and we’ve been working endlessly to find a working mobile server. We’re going to have a meeting withing the next few days to figure out our next steps.
The Next Step
I’m going to be working with Sagar and the rest of the controls team to develop autonomous routines, and a driver station board; let’s go controls, we got this!
Mechanical Progress Update
My mechanics have CNC’d all the parts needed for the robot, and now we’re working on completing the chassis. We’ve got lots to do, wish us luck, THEORY6!
Controls is making progress!
We’ve worked really hard on our camera tracking system, and it’s almost done! the only thing left is touch-ups and fine-tuning. I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, good job team!
Imagery and Woodie Flowers! Go 1241!
We won the Imagery award again! Also, the Woodie Flowers award was just presented to our founding Teacher and Mentor, Mr. John Hobbins! Hopefully this will act as a motivational tool, and brought forth many of the team’s alumni back into action and mentoring Theory6!
Imagery Award!
Just won the Imagery award for representing our spirit and enthusiasm for FIRST on the robot and through the team! GO 1241!
2009: A Fresh Start
After a mediocre season in 2008, Theory6 has approached the new FIRST challenge with a calm and collected approach. Theory6 has implemented an autonomous tracking system, along with an adaptive traction control system to smoothly control our robot for Lunacy. This might be one of the most impressive machines we’ve ever created!
